Cheerleading

Season Start: Aug. 30th

Season Ends: April 27^th (sport banquet)

Practice days: Monday & Wednesdays 4:00-5:30

Location:  5^th grade classroom & Elementary Pavilion 

The cheerleading squad is the only sport that participates the entire year. They will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 either under the elementary pavilion or in Mrs. Payne’s 5^th grade classroom. The cheerleaders will practice during the fall season to get ready for the Cushman Athletics fund raiser which is the Miami Heat game performance. During this time the girls will be allowed to participate in other sports for their practice time is not as demanding. During the winter season is when the cheerleaders will be busy for they will be performing at the home basketball games. During the winter season it is challenging for a cheerleader to participate in another sport at this time for all the performance time for the home and some away basketball games. The cheerleaders will slow down on their performance time once again during the spring season and get ready for the final pep-rally of the year as well as another fund raiser. The cheerleaders will be able to participate in the spring sport season if they choose. The Pep-Rally dates for next year are October 27^th at 2:30; January 26^th at 2:30; April 27^th at 2:30.
