Accreditations & Memberships

We take a lot of pride in the academic and personal achievements of our students, faculty, staff, and administration. It is because of the accomplishments of our Cushman Family that we can share the accreditations that are listed below with you.

The Cushman School is a National Blue Ribbon of Excellence School, and accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Florida Kindergarten Council. We hold memberships in the National Association of Independent Schools (Cushman was the only elementary school in South Florida to be granted membership in N.A.I.S.), the Southern Association of Independent Schools, the National Association of Education of Young Children, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, the National Council of Teachers of English, the National Council of Teachers in Mathematics, the National Council of Teachers of Science, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, the Council for Religion in Schools, and the School Scholarship Service. Our Cushman Middle School is also affiliated with the National Junior Honor Society and the National Association of Student Councils.
